BREAKING: Protest Erupts Over Killings, Kidnappings Amid Mysterious Power Cuts

The streets of Otukpo, Benue State, erupted in protest today as angry residents blocked major roads, demanding urgent action from the government and security agencies over the rising wave of killings and kidnappings in the area.

Chanting "We no go gree!", demonstrators expressed frustration over what they describe as worsening insecurity that has left many dead and forced countless others to flee their homes.

One of the protesters, Daniel Oche, made a startling claim, alleging that electricity is always cut off before each attack, raising suspicions of possible collusion.

"This has been happening again and again. We are not safe in our own homes. And have you noticed? NEPA (JEDC) always takes light before every operation. It’s like they don’t want us to see what’s coming," Oche lamented.

Despite the growing unrest, there has been no deployment of security operatives to calm the situation.

The protests come in the wake of a series of deadly attacks, with residents accusing authorities of turning a blind eye to their plight. Fear grips the community as many live under the constant threat of violence, uncertain when the next attack will strike.

With tensions running high, all eyes are now on the government and security agencies to address the crisis before the situation escalates further.
