A serial fraudster, identified as (Agozi Comedy) Agozi Samuel, has been deceiving unsuspecting individuals on Facebook with a well-orchestrated scam.
Reports from victims indicate that he frequently posts urgent requests for financial assistance, claiming that his UBA bank app is experiencing network issues and that he desperately needs ₦10,000 to sort out some bills.
In his posts, Agozi Samuel promises to repay double the amount by 9 PM the same day, reassuring potential victims that the bank would have resolved the issue by then.
He instructs those willing to help to send him the money and provide a screenshot of the transaction along with their account details.
However, once the money is sent, he disappears, failing to refund the promised ₦20,000, and later deletes the post to erase any trace of his deception.
Many individuals have fallen victim to his fraudulent scheme, with several taking to social media to expose his dishonesty and warn others against engaging in any financial transactions with him.
Victims report that attempts to contact him after realizing they had been scammed are futile, as he either ignores their messages or blocks them entirely.
