Gunmen Kill at Least 52 People in Plateau State


In a tragic series of attacks, gunmen have killed at least 52 individuals and displaced nearly 2,000 others over several days in Nigeria's northern Plateau State. 

The assaults targeted multiple villages, including Ruwi, Hurti, Tadai, Gwande, Manguna, and Dafo, in the Bokkos district.

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has been mobilized to assist affected communities, establishing displacement camps in Daffo, Hurti, and Gwande. 

President Bola Tinubu has directed security agencies to apprehend the perpetrators, emphasizing that they will face severe punishment.
