Renowned Nigerian musician Innocent '2Baba' Idibia has reportedly married Honourable Natasha Osawaru, the Deputy Majority Leader of the Edo State House of Assembly, in a private ceremony over the weekend.
This development follows closely on the heels of 2Baba's recent separation from his wife of 12 years, Annie Idibia.
In January 2025, 2Baba announced via Instagram that he and Annie had been separated for some time and had filed for divorce.
He expressed his intention to share his side of the story with fans, stating, "I would grant a press release soon to say my story... I love you all."
Shortly after the announcement, 2Baba proposed to Natasha Osawaru, a 31-year-old politician and lawyer from Edo State.
The proposal took place in the presence of friends and was captured in a video that circulated on social media.
In the video, 2Baba is seen presenting a ring to Natasha, who accepted with evident joy.
Addressing speculations about the timing of his new relationship, 2Baba clarified that Natasha had no involvement in his separation from Annie.
He described Natasha as a "young, brilliant, and amazing woman" and emphasized his desire to marry her.
Following their private wedding ceremony, Natasha has reportedly adopted the surname Idibia, signifying their legal union.
This marks a new chapter for 2Baba, who has moved on from his previous marriage to Annie, famously known as his "African Queen."
