Hopeful Benue Applicants Storm SGF Akume’s Residence with CVs for Customs Recruitment

In the early hours of today, a group of Benue citizens who had applied for positions in the Nigeria Customs Service converged at the residence of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, in a coordinated effort to submit their CVs.

The movement, organized by Joseph Terver Atu, popularly known as Krazytee, the Grand Commander of Tiv Youth Worldwide, quickly gained momentum as more hopefuls arrived, eager to personally deliver their documents.

Krazytee, also known as Zege Iti, led the initiative, rallying job seekers in the state to seize the opportunity to connect directly with Akume’s office.

"We are here to ensure that our applications are seen and heard. This is a step towards securing the future of our youth and ensuring that our people are given equal opportunities,” said Krazytee.

The applicants, with CVs in hand, patiently waited for others to join before proceeding to submit their documents.

Many expressed optimism that the presence of Krazytee, a prominent youth leader, would help their cause, especially in securing a fair chance in the competitive Customs recruitment process.

As the crowd continued to gather, it became clear that the movement was not only about seeking employment but also about standing in unity to create a more visible and active platform for Benue’s youth.
