In a show of patriotism and appreciation, Hon. Imoter Akaager, Special Adviser to the Governor of Benue State on Local Government Area Market Coordination and Monitoring, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Nigeria's leaders on the nation’s 64th Independence Anniversary.
Hon. Akaager congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President, Speaker of the House of Representatives, and the Chief Justice of Nigeria in a statement celebrating the occasion.
Closer to home, Hon. Akaager also commended Benue State's Executive Governor, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, his deputy, Barr. Dr. Sam Ode, the Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, Chief Hon. Hyacinth Aondona Dajoh, and the state's Chief Judge, Justice Maurice Ikpambese, for their leadership in fostering progress in Benue.
Celebrating the governor’s "salvific mission" for the state, Hon. Akaager praised the launch of the Benue Customised Sacks initiative, designed to support local agriculture and rid markets of illegal taxes and extortion, ensuring a more conducive environment for economic growth.
He further lauded the administration's strides in infrastructure development, agricultural mechanization, healthcare improvement, and educational upgrades.
Hon. Akaager urged stakeholders, youth, and market players to rally behind the governor’s market policies, particularly the new sacks policy, which took effect today, and which he believes will have a lasting impact on the state’s economy.
Wishing Nigerians a joyous Independence Day, Hon. Akaager reaffirmed his commitment to the policies that he says are driving Benue forward.
