In a bid to address critical governance issues in Nigeria, Mr. Omoyele Sowore, the Convener of the Revolution Now Movement, has unveiled the list of locations for the upcoming #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protest.
Scheduled to take place across 35 states and the Federal Capital Territory, the protest aims to draw significant attention to the country's governance challenges.
Mr. Sowore, a former presidential candidate, has urged Nigerians interested in participating to add their towns or cities to the list if they have not been included.
The designated protest sites span various states, ensuring a widespread demonstration of support for the movement.
Among the listed locations in Lagos State are Ikorodu, Lagos Island, Lekki/Ajah axis, Badagry, Ikeja, and Epe.
In Kano State, protests will be held in Kano main town, while Bauchi State will see gatherings in Azare and Bauchi town.
Enugu city and Nsukka in Enugu State, and Dutse and Kazaure in Jigawa State are also on the list.
Additionally, Ado-Ekiti and Ikere Ekiti in Ekiti State, Calabar in Cross River State, and Gwagalada and the Central Business District in the Federal Capital Territory are slated for protests.
Damilare Adenola, the Director of Mobilisation for the Take it Back Movement in the FCT, confirmed that the protest has garnered support from several groups across the nation, further amplifying its reach and impact.
