In a significant development for state workers, Benue State Governor Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia has announced that his administration is ready to implement a new minimum wage of N70,000.
Speaking to journalists in Makurdi, Governor Alia emphasized that his administration has successfully blocked all financial leakages, allowing for this substantial pay increase.
"Despite the harsh economic conditions, our administration remains focused and has implemented measures to ensure smooth operations," Governor Alia stated.
