Emirates Airlines has announced that it will resume daily services between Lagos and Dubai from October 1, 2024, using a Boeing 777-300ER. The outbound flight, EK783, will depart Dubai at 0945hrs and arrive in Lagos at 1520hrs.
The return flight, EK784, will depart Lagos at 1730hrs and arrive in Dubai at 0510hrs the following day. Tickets can be booked on emirates.com or through travel agents.
Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, expressed excitement about the resumption of services to Nigeria, emphasizing the popularity of the Lagos-Dubai route and the airline's commitment to reconnecting leisure and business travelers to Dubai and beyond.
Emirates operates to 19 gateways in Africa with 157 flights per week from Dubai, offering further connectivity to an additional 130 regional points in Africa through its codeshare and interline partnerships.
The resumption of daily passenger flights will also facilitate trade relations between Nigeria and the UAE, with Emirates SkyCargo providing more than 300 tonnes of bellyhold cargo capacity in and out of Lagos every week, supporting the export of goods from Nigeria to key markets and the import of vital commodities.
