The founder of Zion Prayer Movement Outreach, Prophet Ebuka Obi, has revealed that the woman who falsely testified about acquiring a ₦500 million mansion during a church service has been arrested.
Speaking during a sermon on Sunday, Obi expressed his determination to uncover the truth behind the fabricated testimony, stating that he would not allow the case to be manipulated.
The woman, whose identity remains undisclosed, initially shared her testimony in the church, but further investigations revealed that she was, in reality, a local drink seller.
In a video statement addressing the controversy, Obi confirmed the arrest and raised suspicions about those behind the scandal. "I heard they have arrested the girl. We are interested in the case. The case cannot be manipulated. We want to know who sent her," he declared.
The cleric also alleged that some individuals were financially backing certain bloggers to tarnish his reputation. He vowed to expose those involved, emphasizing that his ministry stood for truth and integrity.
Previously, Obi had distanced himself from the woman, insisting that he had no personal connection with her. He accused her of lying against God and desecrating the church’s altar with falsehoods.
The case has sparked widespread discussions, with many awaiting further developments as the investigation unfolds.
