President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended heartfelt congratulations to Nigerian singer Tems following her victory at the 67th Grammy Awards held in Los Angeles on Sunday.
Born Temilade Openiyi, Tems secured the prestigious Best African Music Performance award with her chart-topping single Love Me Jeje, marking her second Grammy win.
She previously won the award for her contribution to Future’s global hit Wait For U. Her latest victory came in a highly competitive category that featured strong contenders, including Yemi Alade’s Tomorrow, Asake’s MMS, Chris Brown’s Sensational featuring Davido and Lojay, and Burna Boy’s Higher.
