According to YouGov, nearly twice as many Britons (39%) view her as untrustworthy compared to those who see her as trustworthy (19%).
Similarly, 39% of respondents find her dislikable, while only 24% hold a favorable opinion of her.
Despite these national setbacks, Badenoch retains solid backing from Conservative voters.
Among those who supported the party in the 2024 election, 56% approve of her leadership, while just 17% express dissatisfaction.
However, broader electoral challenges loom for the Conservatives.
A recent HuffPost report highlighted a dramatic shift in voter sentiment, with the party slipping to third place behind Nigel Farage’s Reform UK and Labour.
Yet, the latest YouGov poll suggests that leadership may not be the root cause of the crisis.
