The National Hospital Abuja has called on the public to help identify a middle-aged man who has been receiving treatment at its Trauma ICU since December 21, 2024.
The unidentified patient was brought to the hospital unconscious by a good Samaritan after reportedly being involved in a road traffic accident along Jabi Express Road.
In a statement shared on Sunday via X, the hospital’s spokesperson, Dr. Tayo Haastrup, confirmed that the patient remains under medical care, with efforts underway to provide him with the best treatment possible.
However, the hospital emphasized the urgent need to locate the man’s family or relatives. “The management of the hospital is hereby appealing to any member of the public whose relation has not been seen since the aforementioned date to please come to the Trauma ICU of the National Hospital Abuja for identification and further necessary action,” the statement read.
The hospital also acknowledged the good Samaritan’s role in bringing the victim for medical attention and reiterated its commitment to ensuring the patient’s recovery.
Members of the public with any relevant information are urged to come forward to assist in reuniting the man with his family.
