Bode George Blames Atiku, Ayu, and David Mark for PDP Crisis

In a scathing critique of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leadership, former Deputy National Chairman, Chief Bode George, has pointed fingers at key party figures, including Atiku Abubakar, David Mark, and Iyorchia Ayu, for the ongoing internal crisis plaguing the party.
Speaking at a recent event, George accused the trio of actions that have deepened divisions and weakened the PDP’s unity.

He emphasized that poor leadership choices and an inability to reconcile factions within the party have led to its current challenges.

According to George, former National Chairman Ayu failed to prioritize inclusivity and transparency, creating friction among party stakeholders.

He also criticized David Mark, accusing him of not taking decisive steps to mediate disputes. Furthermore, George suggested that Atiku’s presidential ambitions exacerbated internal conflicts, alienating key southern leaders.

“The PDP was built on equity, fairness, and justice, but the actions of these individuals have betrayed those principles.

Without proper reforms and accountability, the party risks losing its relevance,” George warned.

The PDP has faced mounting challenges since the 2023 general elections, with some stakeholders calling for a complete overhaul of the party’s leadership.

George’s comments have reignited debates about the future direction of the opposition party.

As the crisis deepens, will the PDP find a way to rebuild its structure and regain public trust? Only time will tell.
