Nigerian social media influencer Martins Vincent Otse, known as Verydarkman (VDM), has spoken out about the leaked recordings involving Baltasar Ebang Engonga, Equatorial Guinea’s finance chief, who is currently under investigation for corruption.
The tapes, over 300 in total, were reportedly discovered on Engonga’s personal device and have shocked the public by revealing his intimate relationships with multiple women, including high-profile figures.
VDM shared on social media that he possesses more than 80 of the leaked clips and has closely examined the content, noting that none of the women appear to have been coerced or underage.
Instead, he described the recordings as consensual, with the women including the wife of the head of presidential security, Engonga's cousin, his brother’s wife, a pregnant woman, and even the president’s daughter actively participating in and enjoying the moments.
"These were people’s wives, the president’s daughter, and pregnant wives. There was no jazz, no force, nothing but mutual interest,” VDM stated. He added that Engonga did not use his political influence to lure the women, suggesting instead that the relationships were personal.
In a final note, Verydarkman urged married men to cherish their wives, implying that unmet needs in relationships could drive people to seek affection elsewhere.
The revelations have sparked widespread discourse on social media, fueling both criticism and intrigue as details of Engonga’s personal life continue to emerge amidst his corruption probe.
