In a disheartening turn of events this afternoon, a family suffered a significant loss after a car break-in on Konshisha Street near a construction site.
A friend, accompanied by his elder brother, initially visited Sterling Bank to withdraw cash but left empty-handed. They then proceeded to Eco Bank, parking their vehicle at the far end of Konshisha Street.
Within their car, they left valuables including a bag containing a significant cash sum of 250,000 Naira and crucial documents pertaining to their late father’s pension.
Upon returning to the vehicle, they were met with a devastating scene, their car had been broken into, and the bag containing all valuables, including the precious pension documents, was gone.
The family has since made a heartfelt plea to the public, urging anyone who might come across the bag to return the documents at the very least.
The missing bag is described as ash-colored, and while the money would certainly help during these challenging times, the family emphasizes that the pension documents are of utmost importance.
The loss of their father has been hard enough, and they fear that if the documents are not returned, his 35 years of dedicated service may go unrecognized.
“We just want the documents back,” they implored, hoping that whoever finds the bag will kindly leave it in a safe place or return it anonymously.
The family, enduring hardship after hardship, appeals to anyone with information to reach out—no questions asked, and with the promise of blessings in return.
