The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that the collation of results from the EdoDecides2024 gubernatorial election will commence at 10 a.m. today.
This pivotal announcement comes after a day of high voter turnout and peaceful voting across the state.
Addressing the press late last night, INEC spokesperson Dr. Amina Yusuf expressed gratitude to all political parties, stakeholders, and citizens for their patience and cooperation throughout the election process.
“We appreciate the patience and cooperation of the parties as we strive to ensure a credible and accurate outcome of this important election,” she stated, highlighting the commission’s dedication to transparency.
INEC also assured the public that results will be meticulously collated from all polling units, with a commitment to upholding electoral integrity.
