EFCC Chairman Orders Arrest of Officers Over Viral Assault Video
In a dramatic turn of events, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested two of its officers following a shocking incident at the Regional Hotel in Ojo, Lagos State. The officers were captured in a viral video allegedly assaulting a female staff member during an early morning sting operation.
The EFCC's Executive Chairman, Ola Olukoyede, swiftly ordered the arrest, demonstrating a zero-tolerance stance on misconduct within the commission. According to a statement released on Thursday by the EFCC spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, the operation had resulted in the apprehension of numerous suspects who are currently being profiled.
